Eligibility for Entering School:
GPP&K follows the age eligibility cut-off dates set by the State of
Maryland for the entry of our children. Your child MUST turn 3 by September 1,the
year that they begin school to be in a Three Year Class. Children MUST be
4 by September 1, to be placed in a Four Year Old Class. All children
entering our State Approved Kindergarten Program MUST turn 5 by September 1,
the year they start Kindergarten.
For the 'Olders' classes, children must have turned 3 by March 31st, to qualify for
the M/W/F afternoon older 3's/young 4's class. To enroll in the afternoon Pre-Kindergarten
'Older 4's' class children must have turned 4 by March 31st.
ALL CHILDREN MUST BE
COMPLETELY TOILET TRAINED, NO DIAPERS, 'PULL-UPS', OR DISPOSABLE PANTS ARE
ALLOWED IN SCHOOL.
Registration Process:
A completed and signed 'Application for Admission' plus
check payment (payable to 'GPP&K') for the
NON-REFUNDABLE advanced tuition payment for May and $65 registration fee
must accompany the application to secure a spot for your child. You
will be given a confirmation of the enrollment and a medical form to be
completed by the child's doctor.
Children must have a completed medical exam and immunization form on file
before the day they start Preschool or Kindergarten. Medical Forms must be
completed and signed by the doctor and mailed to the school BY AUGUST
1, 2010.
